Live demo

This is the real app.

Not a screenshot and not a video: CartCraft itself is running. Pick a store, say who is eating and what you will spend, and watch it craft and cost the week in front of you. Nothing is saved and nobody asks for your email.

  • Choose your store

Type a town or ZIP and pick a chain nearby.

  • Set the table and the budget

Who is eating, what they avoid, what you will spend.

  • Swap anything you would not cook

Every swap re-prices the week on the spot.

  • See the shopping list

Aisle by aisle, costed before you leave the house.

What it does

Built around the shop, not the recipe.

A recipe app stops at the ingredients. CartCraft carries on through the packages, the stores, the driving and the money.

A week, not a recipe

Plan the week, not one recipe. CartCraft picks meals that use what you already bought and prices the whole list before you leave.

Priced where you actually shop

Every basket is costed against the stores in your area, not a national average, so the total on screen is the total you are budgeting for.

One list, in aisle order

The whole week collapses into a single shopping list, grouped the way you walk the shop, with what each line costs beside it.

Real trips, side by side

Lowest total, fewest stops, least waste, stock up, best specials. Each one is a real trip with real stores and real driving, and you pick the one you are willing to make.

Pricing

Free for the week you are in.

CartCraft Plus is for households planning further than that: the whole day, more than one store, everyone at the table, and the month ahead.

FAQ

A clear answer for every question.

What the free week covers, where the prices come from, and what changes when you subscribe.

01Do I need an account?

No. The free week works signed out, on the phone or in a browser. An account is what carries your household between the two, and buying CartCraft Plus needs one so the subscription has somewhere to live.

02Where do the prices come from?

CartCraft carries a grocery catalog and adjusts it to your metro area and to each chain, then costs your actual basket against it. It is an estimate rather than a live till receipt, close enough to plan a budget against, and it is recosted every time the week is crafted. How the prices are made

03Does buying it once cover both the phone and the web?

Yes. A subscription bought in the app or in the browser unlocks both, because it is recorded against your account rather than against the shop that sold it.

04Can I cancel?

Any time. A subscription bought on iPhone is managed in the App Store, and one bought in the browser is managed from your account page. Cancelling leaves you on the free week.

05What does the free version actually plan?

A full week of dinners, costed against the best single store near you, collapsed into one shopping list in aisle order, with the pantry taken off it first. You get 3 swaps and 2 recrafts a week, three recipes of your own, five friends, the whole community feed to browse and like, and household sharing. The week you are in is the whole horizon.

06Is there an iPhone or Android app yet?

Not on the stores yet. The web app is the way in today and it is built for a phone browser as much as a laptop, so you can plan and shop from it now. A subscription bought in the browser will already be waiting in the apps when they land.

07Does CartCraft order the groceries for me?

No. It decides the meals, works out the packages, picks the stores and costs the basket, then hands you the list to shop. Handing a finished basket straight to a retailer is something we are working towards, not something the app does today.

08Can it cook around allergies and things we will not eat?

Yes. One set of rules for the whole table is free. Plus gives everyone their own: gluten free for one, no dairy for another, and the week is planned so every meal works for all of them at once.

09Do I have to drive to several shops?

Only if you want to. The free week is one stop, the best single store for your basket. Plus splits the week across up to eight stores and shows the real trips side by side, lowest total, fewest stops, least waste, so you pick the drive you are actually willing to make.

10What happens if I do not fancy a meal?

Swap it, and the list and the total move with it. Recraft the whole week if two or three are wrong. Free covers 3 swaps and 2 recrafts a week, swapping in one of your own recipes is always free on top of that, and Plus makes everything unlimited.

11Can I cook my own recipes?

Yes. Write up to three of them free, and Plus grows the book to a hundred. The planner costs them like anything in the catalog, swapping one in never spends a swap, and you can publish them to everyone, to friends, or to people you pick.

12Can my partner and I plan from one household?

Yes, and it is free. Add each other as friends, send a household invite, and once it is accepted you are both working on the same week: same meals, same list, same total, on every phone and browser. A subscription stays with the account that bought it.

13What is the Founder seat?

Everything in CartCraft Plus for a single payment of $149.99, with nothing to renew, limited to the first 150 people who take one. It is for the households who would rather back this early than pay for it yearly.
